We the undersigned would like you, President Obama, to keep your promises to the animal welfare community by being more sensitive to the plight of animals. Your recent dinner of foie de gras and veal shows that you are either ignorant of cruelty or don't care. This together with your adopting of a pure bred dog from a breeder negates your campaign pledges of sensitivity to animal cruelty and overpopulation.

Please BAN foie gras production in our country as it is a horribly BRUTAL abuse of animals. The inherent cruelties of veal production goes without saying. Everyone should quit killing animals to satify their appetites. President Obama, you could truly make an impact on this issue by bringing some government attention to the slaughter houses and the on going animal cruelty going on in this country... Health care, yeah I get it, but God put me here on this earth and I'll deal... The animals don't have their own voice... well expect for the scream that comes from the abuse and torture we put them through just to eat them! Please pay attention to this issue and quit spending my tax payer dollars and not releasing the information on who's all getting it and what their going to speand my hard earned cash on. I'd rather pay to save the animals from the slaughter houses. Don't think me a nut, I'm educated and well versed on a plethora of things. Including our Constitution..... God Bless McKenna Fisher
