The Common Arguements:
- Survival - We are in the 21 century, we do not need to hunt animals for food or clothing. We have what we need here today.
- Over population - How do you think over population started in the first place? Over hunting, we have been destroying these animals natural predators for YEARS.
So, I want to see just how many people dont support hunting of any kind by signing this petition. This petition will go on for a year and a half then will be sent to US Congress, according to how many people sign the petition, and we will ask Congress to think about limiting the amount of hunting we take part in in the US. Its a leap of faith, but as long as we are helping... why not? It would be a miracle if we could stop hunting all together, but I highly doubt that will happen considering the amount of hunters in the US. But dont give up! Its not a fantasy, we could possibly outlaw hunting FOREVER! But thats not going to happen unless people take action, and sign the petition.
Tell your friends, family members, post it on facebook or myspace, twitter it, anything! Ask everyone to sign and we will be a step closer towards helping animals and getting rid of the hunt :)
In the USA, many Americans take part in hunting. A "sport" we all know well. Hunting is no longer a method for survival and is now just a "game" we play to simply have fun killing an innocent animal.
Many people become outraged with the thought of other animals being killed such as foxes, wolves, bears, or rabbits, but don't take the time to think about the one animal America seems to hunt the most; the deer. We tend to put certain animals over others because of our customs. I and several others agree this should stop.
Together, we have signed a petition agreeing that hunting is a cruel sport and should be limited in the US. I am asking that you please bring this to attention and think about limiting the amount of hunting in America.
