Support the ohio puppy mill bill

Dear Dog Friends,

Thank you for your support of the Ohio Puppy Mill Bill in the recent year. Once again, we need your emails to Ohio 's House and Senate to show support for the dogs living in these inhumane conditions.  (Substitute House Bill #223 & Senate Bill #173).  There are new members of leadership in the House and Senate and the bill has also been assigned to a new committee. We are starting somewhat fresh and want those new members to know that Ohio Citizens care about the humane care of dogs in high volume breeding facilities known as puppy mills.

As you may know, Ohio ranks 2nd in the entire country for numbers of puppy mills.
An undercover investigator, who has been to puppy mills throughout the United States , has called Ohio puppy mills the worst for humane conditions.  Even though Missouri has many more puppy mills, our dogs are allowed to be kept in poorly maintained kennels without regard to appropriateness to size or cleanliness.

-your state rep & senator (found at these links)http://www.senate.state.oh.us/senators/by_name.html

It is up to each of us to help the dogs, who are in tiny, filthy cages at this very moment.
Don't let them suffer through another winter.
Thank you for taking the time to have our collective voices heard.

Dear Legislator,

Please vote yes on the Ohio Puppy Mill Bill.  (Sub House Bill 223 & Senate Bill 173)
Dogs will continue to suffer in high volume inhumane puppy mills in our state until we regulate the puppy mill industry.

As you may know, Ohio is the 2nd largest puppy mill state in the country.  Not only does this give Ohio a black eye, but Ohio tax payers suffer the burden of this unregulated business.  The Puppy Mill Bill is long overdue for the humane care of dogs in high volume breeding situations.
