Stop rule 9.12 for indoor hockey.

Sign the petition if you agree that rule 9.12 for indoor will destroy the game as we know it. It will not be allowed to defend with your glove hand (stick flat) on the floor.

- How will it be possible to defend without ever touching the floor?
- How will the umpires see if the hand is just above the floor?
- How does this encourage more technical play?

The entire rule:

Rule 9.12: field players hand on the pitch. This Mandatory Experimental Rule specifies that neither hand may be on the pitch when the ball is played; this includes the hand holding the stick. The Rules Committee is concerned that the stick is sometimes placed completely on the pitch which blocks play in a negative and unattractive way. This can no longer happen because the hand holding the stick must not be on the pitch.

Just write name, club and country and we will try to get this through to FIH Rules Committee. Our goal is 5.000 to start of with, let's make it happen.
