Sshhh! We Kindly ask Good Sam to Quiet their Air Conditioning System

  • by: David Gutmann

The air conditioning system at Good Samaritan Hospital has become loud and intrusive to the citizens of Clifton over the past three years, to the point where it now infringes on the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of our neighborhood. The constant whirring, droning noise of Good Sam's AC units atop their building, described by many as the equivalent to a jet engine, is present whenever the air conditioning system is running, which is more than half of the year.

We know of no other air conditioning units from any other businesses or institutions that cause so much noise pollution. We ask that Good Samaritan Hospital please take action to rectify this situation and quiet their noisy air conditioning units. Please sign below if you agree with this petition.

Dear Good Samaritan Hospital Administration:

We ask that you immediately do something to quiet the extremely noisy and obtrusive whirring, droning sound coming from your air conditioners atop the roof of your Clifton hospital. The noise is severely damaging to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of our days and nights, inside and outside of our homes, and as we walk along the streets of Clifton. Thank you for your immediate action to correct this severe disturbance to our neighborhood!
