There is a meeting scheduled April 3rd at the Currituck County court house of the Currituck County Board Of CommissionersThere is to be a proposal that this year from May 31st thru September 1st from (9 am am till 5pm) that driving on the 4x4 Vehicular Beach Strand Driving Ordinance from the end of the hard road to the Virginia line be restricted to the high side only. We the home owners herby sign this petition stating that we do not accept restricting driving on the dune side only. We believe that this will be a unrealistic request due to the amount of traffic that will be funneled into a uncontrolled area, thus creating a very unsafe condition. While we do believe in the safty of all, we think that this would address one concern, to placate the vacationer's and placing all of the residents in a unsafe enviroment.
