Clemency for Kamau Lumumba

I am the mother of Kamau Lumumba who has been incarcerated since March 12, 2004. Since his incarceration, I believe my son has changed and is ready to return to the Norfolk community. How do I know he has changed? Since his incarceration, he attends Bible study sessions weekly, he works in the kitchen and follows the rules, he talks differently about being responsible, such as working and meeting his responsibilities as an adult. He has learned his lesson and has asked for forgiveness of the problems he caused in the pass. I believe in my son and wants him to come home. I support him 100% toward making the adjustment. He will live with me and he will be working at my place of employment Subway. He will have a job waiting for him at Subway, which was arranged with my manager. He will attend my church Providence AME Zion Church which will provide ongoing support to his adjustment. I believe God gives second chances. I'm asking for a second chance for my son. God changes hearts, minds, and behaviors. I believe God has changed my son. Please support this petition for my son to return home.
