Friends of St. Luke's Church, Blakenhall, Wolverhampton want you to sign our petition to
save St. Luke's from complete destruction and return this ancient building to a place of
worship, a community hub, work space , social accommodation. retirement apartments, or a useful building that all the community can use once more.

The building was erected in 1861 as a Church School and closed to the public in
2015, due to the lack of preventative maintenance, and has slates missing, dry rot due
to there being no heating for long periods. St. Luke's Church is a Grade 11 * Listed building, one of 10 most endangered buildings in the United Kingdom, as reported by
the Victorian Society, and must be saved from complete dereliction by poor service.
