We have not changed the basic Driver Training since the beginning, in the 21st Century we should use the Technology that we now have to start our youth training much earlier, in the Safest way, Simulators, various simulators are already in use with our Adults in Flying, Earthmoving, Train Drivers even the Large Shipping including our Armed Forces, But our inexperienced youth don't get a look in, and are expected to get all of the experience's in Qld within 100hrs, yes this innovation of forcing them to get some hours up supervised, but these experience's are limited, mistakes are by its nature reduced, but in a Simulator lesson it allows for serious mistakes to take there course, and the consequence's are shown, for example you can train letting the use of a Mobile Phone and texting, while driving in Traffic.
We need to start the Training Earlier NO LICENCE required for a Simulator and a couple of years practise before they get a Learners can only be a good thing.
Lives will be saved, less expense as no petrol or Tyres needed, saving earths atmosphere as a side effect, the experience for all on our roads will improve if we have our youth start with some years of experience under their belt.

Dear participants, the response is slow, we need more people to share and offer thoughts, Governments everywhere need to bring Driver Training up to the 21st Century, and equal to all of the Adult training for areas like Pilot training, Engine Drivers, Earth Movers, Ships Captains, Racing Drivers, Soldiers in Army Navy and Air Force, plus many more, ALL with Simulator Training to improve Safe practice.
