Change Jasmine's Dress To an Official Dress in the Parks!
In the past year a lot of parents were upset with the Disney park about Princess Jasmine from the Disney movie 'Aladdin' showing her naval in her official outfit. After several people complained, the parks changed her outfit. Rather than putting her in an outfit that she may have worn in the tv show or in a separate movie they put her in an ugly outfit that has way too much fabric and covers up her shape, making her not look like Princess Jasmine. We want this petition to go to the costume executives at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista FL and we want her ugly outfit changed to either her pink dress from the TV show, her wedding dress from 'Aladdin and the King of Thieves' , or her 'street mouse' outfit from the original movie.
To Whom It May Concern,
Over the course of the last year or so, Princess Jasmine's outfit was changed from her movie accurate outfit to a very unflattering dress due to parents' complaints about her showing her naval. However, these parents have not complained about the same issue with Princess Ariel, who while in mermaid form, also shows her naval. The dress that Jasmine now wears is unflattering and it also took away her beauty and grace she displayed in her original outfit, as well as her being confident with her body. We signed this petition asking you to change her outfit in the parks from the unflattering blue dress to the pink dress shown here. This dress if official from Disney and still shows her being graceful and elegant, befitting of a princess.
