Bring Back Melissa and Sid to Q94 Mornings

Hep us bring back Melissa Chase and Sid Kelly to Q94 where they belong! We are outraged by the fact that the Melissa and Sid Morning Show on Q94 has been terminated. We don't like how it was canceled so quickly and then to be told that it was being outsourced to New York! It dosen't make sense that a "local" radio show is in New York City!! We also don't like this decision because in Richmond there is very little variety in the choices of radio stations and this decision makes the variety even slimmer. The canceling of the Melissa and Sid Morning Show will surely result in a decrease in listeners because there are very loyal fans. When someone mentions Melissa and Sid you immediately think of Q94 that morning show holds that station together! Richmond (me too) has been waking up to this morning show for 6 years sharing their crazy stories, breakups, proposals, troubling family matters, new babies, marriages, cheating (War of the Roses) and even those crazy Man Segments. To me this is heart breaking, knowing that we will never be able to do that again. No one really wants to listen to someone in New York when they know they could be listening and chatting to Melissa and Sid locally. I am thoroughly disappointed that Clear Channel has fired Sid Kelly. Waking up in the morning just wont be the same without them.

I strongly dislike the syndicated morning show that is now on based in New York. New York! This is Richmond, I have now switched to listening to another morning show on K95 with Catfish and Lori. I am extremely disappointed with the decision.

I've tried to adapt to this new morning show, but it just gives me a headache listening to this group of people. Elvis and his group seem desperate for laughs, yet they're not entertaining or informative in any way. They don't even talk about the day's current events. Just a bunch of generic, bathroom type attempts at humor. Repulsive noise. Why should I bother listening if you don't care about what you're broadcasting?

Q94 is really going downhill. One nationalized show in the afternoon is enough, now one in the morning too! I've listening to the station since 1995 or so, but no longer. Y101 from now on, unless something is done. Vulgarity is unacceptable, do something about it!

I dont listen to Q94 now because of this change. One of the best things about having Melissa and Sid was getting the hometown feel in the Richmond area. I cannot stand Ryan Seacrest, and this was a huge mistake of the radios behalf.

I m absolutely astonished that they would do this. It doesn't surprise me though in the long run. Clear Channel is absolutely pathetic when it comes to what their listeners REALLY want. I recently moved to NC and drove to Richmond for a visit to find a crappy morning show. The greatest thing about the morning show was that they were local. Melissa would show up at the clubs; she was even there the night of my bachelorette! You just don't get that with a syndicated show. New York might be nice to New Yorkers, but Richmonders want to hear about Richmond!

The language and subject matter are way to mature for my teenager - luckily she tunes in for music and since there is very little of that being played anymore (it's just a filler for all the chatter) we just don't tune in any longer - I miss Melissa and Sid!

It makes more sense to have local voices heard on the radio and make appearances where they can be seen. When you have shows in other states it takes away from the hometown sense of being. I always listened to Q94 in the mornings when it was Melissa & Sid but now I choose other stations. I hope you listen to this petition and bring back Sid and Melissa.

I have been a Q94 listener back since the QZoo was on in the mornings!! I really enjoyed Melissa and Sid,also!! The morning radio shows in this area are boring as mold growing stale bread. People make mistakes, but deserve second chances. I know clear channel radio made a big mistake canceling Mellissa & Sid!!!! This Elvis Duran that is on in the mornings SUCKS,SUCKS,SUCKS!!!! I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard!!! When melissa & Sid are back on in the mornings, I will start back listening again!! Until then,keep Elvis Duran and keep loosing your loyal listeners!!!!

Every Thursday I check the website for the newest War of the Roses and for the last month or so I noticed there hadn't been anything added..... now I know why! They were terminated and being outsourced to New York?!?!?
