Create a Canadian Crown Satellite ISP for Isolated Arctic Communities and End Xplornet Fraud

Thousands of Canadian arctic residents pay Xplornet for internet services they claim are up to 5Mbps but in reality are usually too slow to access basic internet content such as email or government services.

Arctic residents want Justin Trudeau and the Canadian government to monitor arctic satellite internet services and hold internet service providers ISPs accountable through fines and license revocation if they do not consistently provide the level of service they advertise.

If Xplornet and other ISPs are unwilling to consistently provide 5Mbps or better service at fair prices, arctic residents want the Canadian government to create its own ISP for landlocked and/or isolated northern residents by launching a modern ISP satellite dedicated to arctic residents and managed by the CRTC or a new crown corporation.
