Last week, I was changing channels & saw that NATGEO was going to feature the "crushing power" of an anaconda. Unbeknownst to me, they were going to use an innocent pretty little duck to show this. Before the anaconda, killed this poor little duck, I changed the channel!!! THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN ETCHED INTO MY BRAIN, AND IT HAS AFFECTED ME GREATLY. I wanted to jump into the tv & save this precious little duck. When has a nature channel turned so bloodthirsry & evil??!!! They want ratings is what it is!!! This is ILLEGAL....it demonstrates violence, torture & the killing of an animal. It incites all these sadistic, evil beings that commit crimes of torture & murdering of animals to go ahead & keep doing it!!
WHERE IS THE ASPCA IN ALL OF THIS?! Why have they done NOTHING ABOUT IT?!
In August, NATGEO also aired another torture/killing of a poor little chicken as bait to attract a croc/gator in Thailand (I believe it was there).
Just because a pretty little duck, and precious chicken are considered farm animals, doesn't allow for this torture & killing of them!!! ALL ANIMALS ARE TO BE PROTECTED & THE LAW PROTECTS THEM......NATGEO THINKS THAT BECAUSE THEY HAVE MONEY, THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT. They've aired 2 shows that I know of and gotten away with it, unscathed.
T.V. has its share of violence already, and video games are practically number 1 in that category....why should ANIMAL TORTURE/KILLING Also be ok?!
I URGE YOU TO SIGN MY PETITION TO GET THE ASPCA, PETA, WWF TO START AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE ANIMAL TORTURE/KILLING BEING SHOWN ON THE NATGEO CHANNEL.
BOYCOTT THEIR CHANNEL IN THE MEANTIME, IF THEY HAVE LOW TO NO RATINGS, THEIR CHANNEL GOES DOWN!
