Square Enix: update your Android/iOS games!

Many fans of Square Enix have found that their favorite games, particularly the Android variety, have game-breaking bugs or just don't work with newer versions of Android or iOS, particularly Android Lollipop. Others feel that many games are being neglected while others are receiving regular updates, such as game pad controls for Final Fantasy VI. For example, the Chaos Rings series still hasn't been updated to work with Lollipop, and Drakerider hasn't been updated at all since its initial release.

Many games could benefit from new game pad controls as well. Chaos Rings I, II, III, and Omega; Drakerider, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy I-IV, Dimensions, and Tactics, the Dragon Quest series, The World Ends With You, Chrono Trigger and so on, have not received this same treatment and the virtual controls are lamentably terrible. Many gamers use controllers or devices such as the NVIDIA Shield systems, which offer mapping for some games, but many find it is terribly lacking.

Square Enix has announced that they will be taking company resources from console development and focusing on mobile devices. They can start with this!
