Boycott Forever 21

Odds are, you've heard of fast fashion. It's cheap and widely produced, leading to popularity among young people. However, fast fashion is an environmental disaster and massive human rights violation, as tragically illustrated by the Rana Plaza collapse. Forever 21 has done very little to protect workers and the enviroment. For example, Forever 21 uses dangerous sweatshops where workers are paid $4 an hour and this has been documented multiple times, yet business still persists. Forever 21 has refused to say who their suppliers are or the nature of their supply chain and has avoided transparency. On top of human rights violations, the chain is an environmental disaster and plays a huge part in clothing related pollution, which helps make clothing the second most unsustainable industry in the world.

Forever 21 needs to disclose its supply chain and suppliers, adopt a workers bill of rights, and take steps to make the brand more sustainable. Until then, boycott Forever 21!
