The owners of the football teams claim they want to "Get it right" now that domestic abuse charges are coming out of the woodwork. The 6 football players named as of today, and any sports figures in the future charged with domestic abuse should be immediately banned from the league permanently with no chance of being reinstated to any other team.
If a player is suspended under the suspicion of beating on his wife and children, they should not be suspended WITH pay. They can be reimbursed at a later date, when they are proven not guilty.
The players found guilty of domestic abuse should be obligated to donate a portion of their multi-millions to their local domestic violence organization of their community, volunteering their time there, and take courses dealing with domestic violence. Something needs to be done now. Take a stand.
