Save Turtles food sorce from being Chicken fertilizer

We recently learned the Seaweed in the Gulfstream which floats year round around the Atlantic is here Turtles float live and eat. But we need to stop countries which suck it up and use it a chicken fertilizer. Are we willing to destroy most of another species only food sorce for something rediculous as fetilizer. Not only is this allowed, the seaweed which supports adiverse eco system is not protected.
