Please sign and share this petition worldwide to demand that the employees at the Fort Bend County Animal Shelter be fired for euthanizing a couple of dogs prematurely without warrant. They call it a “mistake!!” Quite the mistake, to take the animal’s lives within hours after they were brought into the shelter.

When dogs are brought in to a shelter, even one that cannot keep them for long periods without being adopted, by law they were supposed to keep them for at least three working days. Both a French bulldog and American pitbull were brought into the shelter and checked for tags or a microchip. They had neither. A volunteer was present when they arrived at the facility but protocol was not followed when handling the animals. Those responsible should and will be disciplined; not just disciplined. They should be fired for taking these lives!

How can people take these lives so lightly; bring them into the shelter and off to be euthanized? I don’t get it. It is bad enough that these are kill shelters but the animals were not even kept for hours, much less days.   Please sign and share this petition worldwide to demand that the employees at the Fort Bend County Animal Shelter be fired for euthanizing a couple of dogs prematurely without warrant. Houston, Texas Law Enforcers – You must work with those in charge at the Fort Bend County Animal Shelter to ensure that those responsible for euthanizing these dogs prematurely are fired and never allowed to work with animal again. They clearly did not follow protocol for these animals and killed them just hours after entering the facility rather than waiting the legal 3 working days. Such inhumane actions should be punished! Fire these workers and keep them away from animals! They are clearly dangerous to other living beings.
