PETITION FOR REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES Criminal Section, Civil Rights Division United States Department of Justice Washington, D.C. We Men, Fathers, Husbands and Concerned Citizens of the United States of America hereby petition the U.S. Government for redress of grievances. We demand a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into the Civil Justice Systems of the various States of the United States. We charge the Civil Courts, specifically the Domestic Relations/Family Courts, Circuit Courts and judges, with blatant and gross gender bias and prejudice against men, and in favor of women in the vast majority of divorce cases involving child custody, visitation, property division and child support. In these Courts of Injustice, men are discriminated against in nearly all cases involving women, and occasionally women are denied their constitutional rights to equality and parenthood as well. We demand equality for all parents. In most cases, however, men's constitutional rights to raise our children, to life, liberty and property are systematically violated. Men are treated as though guilty from the very start, denied due process, and forced to endure the destruction of our parenthood and alienation from our children due to the existence of statutes providing for forced unequal custody orders in direct violation of the guarantees of due process, equal protection of the laws, and the liberty interest in the family under the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. We demand a full and impartial investigation, state by state, district by district. We demand abolition of all statutes which allow forced unequal custody orders against law-abiding parents absent a compelling state interest, which statutes promote the "winner take all", adversarial process that destroys parent-child relations and preclude a level playing field which is vital for parents to cooperate in rearing children after a divorce. We demand justice and compensation for emotional damages suffered by this illegal, state-sponsored terrorism and kidnapping of our children, loss of family relations, and fincancial damages from fighting this corrupt divorce industry presided over by state family law judges. WE DEMAND REFORM

I am the older sister of a 50 year old man that has been so totally violated by the Family Court System. If I were not personally involved, it would be difficult to believe what has happened to he and his two children, 10 and 13 years of age. He and wife divorced in 2003, and, even though he was at that time very unhappy with the decisions made by the judge, he felt he had to accept them. He began paying monthly child support (he never missed or was late with a payment) was to see the children one evening a week and every other weekend. Things were pretty much ok, although the ex wife has always refused any decent communication. In September 2007, everything changed. The ex wife took both children in the early hours of morning, physically forcing the son, to the airport and flew to Hawaii with them. No prior notice was given to my brother. After five weeks of torment, especially for the son, the court ordered them back to WV. Son has been with his father since Nov 2007, daughter with mother, with visitation for the father. In the first hearing the mother offered to "trade" the son to the father for the daughter, of course this was denied. Father found out the mom had enrolled the daughter in a school in Hawaii for the 2008-09 school year, and in order to be enrolled she would have to have been a Hawaii resident by September 29, 2007. The father exercised his decision making rights given to him in the divorce and stopped the enrollment in this school, which made the mother furious. So, what did the judge do in the hearing....took the rights from the father, gave sole authority to the mother. Things only became worse. A psychologist, which was found by the attorney for the mother, after saying that he would not sure about the fitness of the mother, gave his permission for the mother to return to Hawaii in June 08 for summer school, even though enrollment had been denied. Another hearing was held in Aug 08, the doctor, guardian at litem and judge again permitted the mom to return to Hawaii with the daughter to go to another school. Another hearing was held Dec 08, at which time the mother was given permission to permanently return to Hawaii with daughter. The father, at no time, was allowed to present his case, witnesses, etc to the court. Even the "corrupt" judge said this was the worst case ever in her court. This has been the most devastating thing that has happened to a father and the son, who is also denied contact with his mom and sister. This case will be appealed to a higher court, however, we hold little comfort in any changes being made. I am a 62 year old retired woman, and I will spend the rest of my life trying to fight the corruption the family court system, and to make changes. This is also a case of the worst type of parental alienation ever.

On 11/15/08 my life has changed for the worse because of the VAWA laws. My wife is an illegal alien because she went back to Mexico in 2000 while her INS papers were in process. I spoke with lawyers and INS professionals to resolve the problem and unless an amnesty program came, she needed to go to Mexico while the papers were being processed again. My wife didn’t want to go back and do it the right way. There are lots of other problems she has and it’s been making my life extremely stressful. She has bipolar disorder and something else. She won’t go to get evaluated. She has been really abusive towards me for several years. We have three kids together, I don’t want to say but if I had known before, but I can’t, because I love my kids soo much. I go to work and come home to spend all time with my family. I do everything with them. I believe my wife has been setting me up for years making people believe I was abusing her including my kids; I had an argument with her about it on 11/08/08 because on that day in front of the kids, she said I punched her in the face a year before. This incident happened in 2007, my wife was drunk and attacked me with a TYBO stick, her friend was there helping me restrain her, but comes the hearing and my wife’s friend doesn’t want to testify so my wife doesn’t get in trouble, so she doesn’t answer the door when the subpoena came (with 30 attempts!). After the argument on 11/08/08 several days passed and I had a surprise injunction order on me. The police kicked me out my home with only ten minutes to get ready with cloths and get out. I slept in the minivan for a few days. I just paid all the bills and had no money on me. I have a witness, my wife’s friend, I subpoenaed her friend and she wouldn’t answer the door after 30 attempts by an officer. If I was a lawyer I’d know what to do ahead of time, but I didn’t know and I gave information too late. We weren’t prepared. My lawyer wasn’t familiar with the severity of this type of case and didn’t speak Spanish. At the end the judge extended the injunction order. I didn’t get to say almost anything in the court room and I just found out the judge never read my testimony statement. There are always two sides of a story and the judge didn’t hear mine. My wife told me her friend did the same with her husband to get her green card. I didn’t think my wife was going to do it. My wife has been an abuser physically and mentally for several years but it is me and the kids that are paying the consequences. Update, I have spoken to the most expensive attorneys and mid priced attorneys, where did I get the money? My family from up north wants to help by sacrificing there Christmas. All the lawyers I spoke with says the judge almost never change their previous ruling and it would take six months to contest so it would be better to take it to a divorce trial which may be quicker, or at least may be the most logical way to handle this, and I can have her get a court order for a psychological evaluation. We’ll see. I have not seen my beautiful kids for about a month now. An emergency today, the school wants me to get my youngest son from school and his mom was not answering her phone. My sister thankfully, I put on the emergency pick up list at the kids school so she was able to pick up my son. My sister says my oldest son which is 9 years old, which used to be an AB student, is now in therapy two days per week and is very depressed and doesn’t want to go to school. I am trying soo hard to restrain myself from saying how I really feel about all the branches of government and Judge Flemming of Kissimmee, Florida. I’ll just say sarcastically, “thank you for helping my criminal spouse in destroying my life and my children’s life”. I am not happy saying it that way. Taking these Batterers classes that is trying to brainwash me into thinking I’m a batterer is really good for my soul also. I’m really starting to feel like a batterer. It’s my first Battering Intervention Class and the only thing they are saying is how I am an abuser and I need to accept what I am. I’ll sleep in my minivan or a fire ant pile as long as my kids are happy, but in my situation it wouldn’t help my son. This is so very hard to re live every day.My wife and I decided to split up and she wanted to take the 4 and 10 year old to Mexico.Isaid kids could not go.She called police while I was sleeping and made up false statements to get her way.Claimed beating ,raped,kidnaping on and on.With no prof of none of this im up too 60.000 in debt faceing 250 years plus life and the worst part I nor none of family members have no contact with the kids at all.No one here belives this except for the ones too gain by this .Corts and Social Service.There is so much moore and so unbeliveable but the kids hearts and lives are paying the price of it all.Not so much for me but for the life of my kids if any one can help please do Thanks Paul at flashbackpc81@hotmail.com

my son was removed from my ex wife's care by dhs just because she brought him over back in 2003 when i was younger and i had a house full of people anfter a party the night before. they made arrangements for my son to go to her mothers instead of foster care, and the mom agreed. then his anunt and uncle was at an attorneys office as this was happening and filled for emergency custody of my son and it was granted, now i pay child support to the aunt and uncle but the mother still has to pay nothing as my son was pulled from her care. and is now a none custudial parent just as i am, i dont see this as right, and i have tried to find and get the dhs files so i acn fight in court to get my son since the mother hasnt tryed and my ttorney neither one can find any dhs documents from this day fourth like they never excisted but when i went to court yesterday, i was granted visatation at my parents house yesterday, and she still gets him anytime she wants. he was pulled from her care not mine and she see and takes him anytime she wants and no support from her and its taken me damn near 4 yrs to get it inbto court just to be awarded visataion at my parents and still have to pay support, i say all dhs, russellviille police, and the judges are corrupt, and dont care about the fathers rights or whats in the best intrest of my son, and i hate it, if any one can help, or has advice please email me or let me know

I, along with my children, have been alienated from my first daughter by her stepmom and dad. My husband, children, and I have been alienated from his first and second sons. All these alienations were unfounded, done by "winner take all" attitudes of parents interested in their own agendas, instead of thinking of what was best for the child. I shudder to think what life will be like for children who were taught to hate someone they once loved and looked up to. This cannot be good for society as a whole.

The American legal system has been corrupted almost beyond recognition, Judge Edith Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, told the Federalist Society of Harvard Law School on February 28. She said that the question of what is morally right is routinely sacrificed to what is politically expedient. The change has come because legal philosophy has descended to nihilism.

I have been fighting for the last 9 years to regain custody of my son after being a stay at home dad for three years prior to my divorce because of the discrimination against my disabilities. When the powerful woman groups encourage real equality and not portray woman as the victim all the time only then will our children and our decency as a society will be as it should. The stats are overwhelming AGAINST single mother homes. So why do the judges continue to discriminate againt the dads. No wonder our children are having these problems. I whole heartedly believe that if judges would award dads with custody, you WILL see adramatic turn around in these stats.

On May 10, 2005, a Judge ordered the SSA to give us our children and help us with housing. They gave us a list of homeless shelters and the finger. Now, they take half of my income, and refuse to let us even talk to our kids. I am ready to just take my children back from them, and cripple anyone who tries to stop me. Steve Hahn

My ex wife and I have joint custody but she has abused it in such a despicable manner that it defies logic. I am now back in court fighting for sole custody, and in our depositions preceding the actual trial she lied about everything humanly possible to make me the evil man so as to put her in a better position for custody. But luckily for me I began installing safeguards which I activated a year or two in advance in case she decided to lie when the time came. My case will be special and may be a signature case for men who want equal parental rights and a shared life with the children they produced. My case will play out in Georgia (where she picked up and moved to from Arizona) and hopefully will encourage more men to not give up the fight for what is rightfully theirs as well as their ex's. This case should at least put us on equal ground. In all honesty this case will (or should) also sicken most women and hopefully get them to open their eyes to the fact that we are men, we are human, we are fathers. Take it from me, no matter how beaten up you feel, or how depressed, or how much you feel you can't take it another day, please do not explode stay focused and don't ever give up. These are our children we are talking about. They are not toys, they are not pets, they are not pawns. They are our children. They are not just objects, they are little human beings that we created and need us as well as their mothers. PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP!!
