BILL PROPOSAL: MANDATORY REPORTING OF CHIROPRACTIC STROKE, VAD, CAD

Presently, there are inferior regulations and no mandatory reporting of injuries nor informed consent for clients of chiropractic. Strokes are on the rise for those under the age of 45 yo. LIVES are being drastically altered due to injuries whereby clients were not educated to the risks. The carotid and vertebral artery are two vessels that are close to the spine manipulated and provides the head and face with circulation.Tears of those arteries cause severe neurological injuries with bleeding or clots to the brain or brain stem area. Please consider becoming active in this fight for chiropractic knowledge of risks, informed consent and reporting of those injuries when they do happen to obtain accurate statistics. We the undersigned______________ do hereby vehemently stand on PRINCIPLE AND JUSTICE and unite to strongly propose a mandatory reporting and collection of statistical data BILL to be passed in congress for research needed for accurate studies that will enable funding for non-biased clinical trials that support all chiropractic cervical manipulative therapy injury victims better understand their affliction and costly lifestyle changes. The first BILL proposal will be that: "ALL HOSPITALS, IMAGING CENTERS AND PHYSICIANS ARE MANDATORY TO REPORT ALL CHIROPRACTIC CAUSED STROKE, VAD (Vertebral Artery Dissection) AND CAD (Carotid Artery Dissection) INJURIES WITHIN 120 DAYS OF TREATMENT !!" A second most likely will be that "All Chiropractic practitioners must have a thorough and comprehensive consent form explained by a licensed professional chiropractor to ALL risks of ANY spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) prior to any treatment modality." As a Chiropractic injury victim, the petitioner called the Top 10 USA hospitals for clinical data, not one reported injuries sustained by any chiropractic injury victim and was buried in their private charts. This must end and accurate national statistics must be reported via an anonymous CASE #ID form whereby the CASE #ID number is given only to a primary physician due to HIPAA laws but a diagnosis with causality from chiropractic be clearly defined within a time frame. Currently, within the medical and legal profession, the knowledge of this "RARE" occurrence is a "SHADOW" of the enormity of our plight and is instead "UNDER-REPORTED". Therefore victims do NOT receive the medical nor legal representation they so rightly and justly deserve. It is this critical NATIONAL DATA that is needed to then move toward national studies as "RARE" biased statistics prevents public awareness and needed government funding for research.
