Hawthorne Racetrack Killing cats

For 7 years every single day Carrie Gobernatz has fed and cared for 40 feral and stray cats on the backside of Hawthorne Racetrack in Stickney, Illinois. The owner told her he wants her to get all the cats out. Without giving her a chance to relocate them he barred her from the property. She is not allowed to feed or go on the property at all. This is day 5 and these poor helpless cats are starving !!! A few weeks ago Carrie explained to the owner about the programs that other racetracks all around the country have to care and protect the feral and stray cats on the backside. She sent him the links to the stories in the news about it. He could care less. He was unwilling to negotiate a reasonable timeframe for trapping and relocating the cats. Now he is sentencing them to death. Furthermore, the manager of the backside has been overheard saying he hates cats and hopes that they will get eaten by the coyotes. Yesterday he told Carrie he does not give a damn about those cats. He may not give a damn but we do! When Carrie first started caring for these cats she had 2 different horseman tell her that when they called security about baby kittens they found in a stall and then the employees came and just scooped them up and threw them in the trash! THAT IS A CRIME. We need to send a message heard across the world, we do not tolerate corporate animal abusers! Carrie can only drive past her colony of cats and cry as she sees them waiting for her to feed them. Her heart is too broken to fight and she needs your help. Dennis Taylor the Head of Security is enforcing orders to block her from feeding and medicating the cats.
