Help stop breed descrimination in Kentucky and put an end to BSL

Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) is a blanket term for laws that regulate or ban certain breeds of dogs. A study done by the CDC (center for disease control) cited problems with inaccurate dog bite data, and the difficulty identifying dog breeds along with mixed breeds, has sided against BSL. They also felt that as dog breeds become regulated, people who exploit dogs will replace them with unregulated breeds.

Breed neutral laws would put the responsibility of the dog where it belongs on the owner. This would: 1. Greatly reduce or stop dog attacks from all breeds. 2. Weed out neglectful owners, who shouldn't own any breed of dog. 3. It would greatly reduce animal abuse.

Are we to ban every breed of dog that gets exploited? How many dogs must die before we come to our senses? Will people only open their eyes when their best friend gets added to the growing list? Will People open their eyes when the needle is put into their best friend's veins? Not for anything that the dog's has done, but for its breed, or what breed it may look like. Killing an innocent dog, isn't that just another form of animal abuse? I have present a more cost effective alternative to BSL. Now I ask for people to open their hearts, and sign this petition to end BSL in Kentucky. Thank you all.
