The county office will be having a public school board meeting, Tuesday October 4th 2016, at 5:30 pm, at the county offices off Bill Beck by Gateway High School. If you guys wouldn't mind showing up to really show your support that would be great. Please show off school spirit and rock your HHS colors to the meeting. Or we can do a white out if you’d rather that. Regardless #HHSPride and see you Tuesday!
Our graduation gowns were changed without the students' input or knowledge until the time came to order them. Since Harmony High School has opened, the boys have worn burnt orange and the girls have worn white gowns. This a tradition. Majority of the students at Harmony have pictured their graduation day as a sea of burnt orange and white students. This isn't fair to the current seniors. We were taken by surprise. Many of us have had family members or close friends who have previously graduated. Every year has been roughly the same. We don't have to be an exception. The class of 2017 has had many new rules, requirements, and standardized tests forced upon us.. The last thing that we need to have forced on us is what color gowns we have to wear if we want to attend our own graduation. If the issue was caused by gender factors, let the students pick their own colored gowns. We have had enough of administration and the district changing things without our knowledge. Since the students already have to pay for their own robes, we should have been asked or warned at least a month in advance. We would like to new robes to be glistening white for the ladies, and burnt orange for the gentlemen. Keep Tradition Strong! #HHSPride
