Demand justice for the 14 elephants poisoned to death in Sabah!

10 endangered pygmy elephants were found dead in January 2013 with signs of poisoning being the reason of death. They were reported to be bleeding from the mouth and anus which points to poison by human hands! Since we launched this petition, another 4 dead elephants have been found! Do not let their deaths go for nothing! Demand justice!

With less than 2000 animals left in Borneo and 95% of them in Sabah, the local authorities must do justice for these 10 elephants and prosecute the culprits to the fullest extent of the law! Yayasan Sabah especially must answer to this! Why was this allowed to happen in a protected forest that they were managing in the name of conservation!!

To the Directors of WWF Malaysia,Yayasan Sabah and Sabah Wildlife Department

We demand justice for the 10 elephants in Sabah that died from poisoning in a palm oil plantation.

There are less than 2000 of these endangered elephants left in the wild and as custodians of 95% of these animals, we demand that you make an example of this shocking event and punish those responsible to the full extent of the law!!

Wildlife in Sabah has come under increased threats from palm oil plantations and reports of human and elephant conflicts have increased recently. As the single largest producer of palm oil in Malaysia, we say enough is enough! No more plantations!

We expect justice to be carried out swiftly. As a state that prides itself on being eco tourist friendly, we will boycott Sabah as a holiday destination until we see justice done!
