First and foremost is the concern for the disabled & blind residents of Stoneridge, but also for the children and everyone else in regards to the cracked pavement, slick walkways and a host of other ovewrdue improvements. Please see the full petition letter for more details.

Thank you.

Happy Tenants + Thriving Management = Proud Owners!

Petition to make Stoneridge great!

In attempts to make Stoneridge Apartments a place that residents are proud to call home and SPM is pleased to manage and owners are thrilled to own, the tenants are imploring upper management to make necessary improvements and upgrades to the building and within the complex because despite the onsite manager's constant upkeep, the place at its core is in disarray.

We have several disabled tenants living on the premises and the walkways, courtyard and parking lot are muddled with broken concrete and such.
For over 2 years the building itself has been half painted.
Except for the beautiful trees, the landscape in the courtyard is unsightly & hazardous, with tarp, mulch and rocks blown into oblivion by both wind and yard maintenance. And the border along its edge constantly falls away becoming a stumbling block that the manager is often adjusting.    *Astroturf would be an excellent replacement.
Stoneridge is advertised as a gated community, but the gate is frequently in disrepair. When I requested compensation for all tenants I was told no because it’s simply a nice amenity to the property and doesn’t make our units uninhabitable. But strangely, I was also told no when I inquired if tenants could receive deduction or credit due to the yearlong roach & maggot infestation causing us to stay elsewhere at times and miss work to prep for multiple pest control visits. Maybe I don’t understand what uninhabitable means.
Sadly, the overall outer appearance of Stoneridge gives the impression that it's an old abandoned section 8 facility that has only recently been inhabited.
The balcony, stairs and rails desperately need refinishing.
The gutters leak all over in winter causing slippery puddles in walkways.
Many front doors don't close tightly, allowing cold/hot air & water inside.

The screen doors are solid, but are rusty and need painting.
There is severe dry rot in various places on the roof above the breezeway that is covered with tarp.

This list of ailments is only in regards to the exterior portion of the Stoneridge Community as it is each tenant's responsibility to inquire about repairs and improvements within their apartment.

The upcoming rent increase will surely help cover these expenses over time and create an environment we are all proud of.

*In most cases, repairs last longer with quality supplies.

Sincerely,                                                                               Linnea apt. 206
