Dear petitioners,
If none of you are familiar with the Ringling brothers circus, please let me inform you. They are a team of people with magnificent animals such as elephants, camels, tigers and horses that they train to do spectacular tricks with. Although, it's not always as glamourous as it looks.
What happens behind closed doors with those animals? Let's begin with the elephants. Ringling brothers circus take in baby elephants, they chain and tie them by their legs to concrete for hours on end, giving no sunlight, barely any food and water, and trainers prod and stab elephants with metal like hooks called bullhooks. There have been reports of previous workers in the circus stating their claims of the abuse being so bad, the animals would scream and cry for the abusers to stop.
Is that any way for a magestic animal like a tiger or elephant to live? NO! Stop the horrible abuse on these animals and put these trainers and workers behind bars! They don't deserve to have the privledge of working with amazing creatures like the elephants and tigers. Reports have also been shown that they declaw the tigers.
Sign the petition, get the word out there to shut down the Ringling brothers circus. They have been fined with the hugest bill in circus history, but that didn't stop them!
Don't go to their shows, don't pay for anything related to them, don't support them! Get them charged with horrible abuse once and for all.

Inform anyone and everyone you can. Inform the state of where the Ringling brothers circus resides, inform PETA, inform the humane society, INFORM EVERYONE! THIS HAS TO STOP.

Please e-mail Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack at tom.vilsack@usda.gov now and tell him that that he must act to ensure that the USDA takes meaningful enforcement action that deters AWA violations, rather than coddling abusive exhibitors who consider animals’ pain and suffering a mere “cost of business.”

End this horrible act now! No animal should go through this abuse, none! Magnificent, beautiful creatures are dying under the hands of these monsters every day for the circus life. Any person who worked with Ringling could guarantee all the abuse they have seen personally behind closed doors.
Wherever the hometown of Ringling brothers circus is, let the state know! Let Peta know, let Animal humane society know, let everyone know! This HAS to stop now! Save the animals before it's too late.
