The Nambucca Valley Youth Services Centre is a non profit organization that relies on funding to keep it operating. The centre had to make the hard decision to lay off there three Youth Workers and Youth Cafe Coordinator as of Friday 29th June due to the lack of ongoing funding. With the loss of their other workers they will not be able to take any referrals or assist with housing issues, Centrelink and other general youth work.
The Nambucca Valley Youth Services Centre has been operating for ten years.They have run many successful programs and have assisted numerous disadvantaged young people in the Nambucca Valley. The Nambucca Valley Youth Services Centre is a vibrant youth friendly service with a high success in youth social recovery programs, interventions, TAFE vocational training and youth enterprise programs.
With signing this petition you will be supporting recurrent funding for the Nambucca Valley Youth Services Centre for Youth Workers and Youth programs for the Nambucca Valley.
