Demand the Australian Government Removes all Taxes From Feminine Hygiene Products

Right now, the Australian Government places a Goods and Services Tax (GST) on women because of their anatomy.

Australian women have to pay a GST on feminine hygiene products, which outrageously are labelled as a luxury good, according to a report in The Age.

A motion from advocates for reform states: "It is time for feminine hygiene products to be reclassified under the GST health exemption like sunscreen, condoms, lubricants, incontinence pads and nicotine patches. These are all essential health products,"

Australian women should not have to pay tax on their body. Will you join me in demanding the removal of GST from tampons and pads - it is about fairness. Please sign and share the petition.
