Officer Barry Accorti of North Ridgeville, Ohio, allegedly shot and killed a litter of 5 feral kittens living while bystanders, including children, looked on.
According to local news reports, the five kittens were all killed on the spot in a woodpile after the homeowner had contacted North Ridgeville Police for help removing them.
Amazingly, Accorti's superior officer, Chief Mike Freeman, later posted on Facebook: “After visiting the scene, talking with the responding officer, and re-interviewing the complainant, I have decided his actions were appropriate and have decided not to impose any disciplinary measures for the incident."
"Appropriate" in what kind of world?!! This was unnecessary, inexusable, and demands justice.
