Culburra Beach: Pristine forests, beaches, lakes & bays - with the most beautiful & unique creatures - AT RISK....

Proposed development of 100ha of forest, will destroy homeland for the following creatures & plants currently on the threatened species list plus many other innocents yet to reach this sad list.

Removing this forest will heavily impact on local wildlife, their quality habitat, nesting, reproduction & of course effect the delicate ecological balance.

Threatened species residing within proposed development site:

>
Glossy Black Cockatoo
> Powerful Owl
Scarlet Robin
Little Eagle
> Swift Parrot
> Eastern Freetail Bat
> Yellow bellied glider
Little Tern
> Sooty Owl
> Large footed Myotis
> White throated Needletail

Threatened Forest species within proposed development site:

>
 Swamp Oak Forest
>  Black She-Oak Forest
> Bangalay / Woolybutt Forest
> Blackbutt Forest
> Scribbly Gum Forest
> Rough barked Apple Forest
> Red Gum Forest
> Mangrove Forest

Nearby nesting for threatened birds
Eastern Curlew
> Osprey

Destruction of this important pocket of varied forest, will push surviving creatures into surrounding land; cause severe stress & potentially eradicate many species of plantlife from this area.

Culburra Beach is filled with environmental wonders; which deserve to be treasured, protected, respected & conserved, for all future generations.

Clearing this forest will forever alter the time honoured majestic nature of the land.

Please help by lending your urgently needed support.
Together we will show we care about saving this unique forest & the creatures, who are the rightful inhabitants.

We seek to have this land recognised as 'High Conservation Value', to be zoned accordingly in Shoalhaven Land Environment Protection Act & join it with Jervis Bay National Park.

Thank You.
