hi.i live in quill lake,saskatchewan.almost 2 years ago my kids wanted a pet.but we have never owned one because they are elergic to cats and dogs.so my 2 kids researched and found out pot bellied pigs make great pets.so they saved up their money and we got them 2.they are the best thing that has happened to us in a long time.they are very loving.this town we live in is very judgemental.we are not from here or related to anyone so we were never accepted.i thought since they dont have friends the pigs will help keep them happy.the town sent us out a letter 5 months after we had them.everyone knew we had them and never seemed to mind.my son was a victim of being bullied in the school,so as soon as we confronted the kids people here hated that.so we got our first letter saying we have to remove them.well i was told that it would go to council and we never heard nothing back.so today 14 months down the road we get another letter saying the same thing.the administrator in town here is one who wants us to move.so we have a meeting to plead with them why we should get to keep them.that is animal crualty.they figure that this will make us move so if i can get people to sign this saying why a pot bellied pig should be allowed we would really love that.we dont really have support here because they want us out of town.i have someone here that is gonna see if she can help.my kids say thank you,this is breaking there hearts.
