Someone's home is private property. The owners and renters shouldn't have to come home and find their homes stolen from them. There are penalties for breaking and entering, trespassing, robbing, mugging, defrauding the government, etc. Yet there are no laws against the people who weasel around those laws. There are no laws protecting the owners and renters from squatters.
Real Estate agencies, banks, and more are channels that honest home owners and renters go through to obtain such housing, yet squatters do not go through the proper channels. They wait til the coast is clear then they go in for the steal and they know they are committing a crime because they change the locks immediately.
Home owners and renters should be able to go about their days and nights doing what they want without the fear of staying in their house just so squatters won't steal their houses. Home owners and renters shouldn't have to pay legal bills in court to ensure they can keep the house they rightfully pay for or rent.
Squatters are freeloaders and mooches. They wait for someone to get property and leave then they the ones who aren't paying move on in. It is going to turn into bloodshed from owner to thief if something isn't done now to stop it. I am sure of it.
Home owners and renters can get insurance for their houses and property. It's about time they got protection from squatters too since squatters are burglars of the biggest types. They want the law to think they have a right to steal someone's home. But they don't.
