30 years ago I was surprised with a trip to the plastic surgeon, with saline implants being the result. They started leaking well over 20 years ago, doctors said. I didn't worry, my implants were saline which is absorbed by the body- no harm done.
Now, when I'm over 63, I find out that my lymph nodes are full of silicone markers. I HAVE to have them removed immediately. Medicare only allows for the surgeon to open at my old scar, remove breast tissue to get to implant, remove implant, scraping out any excess etc and then close. No cutting off of now excess e mpty skin, no symmetry worries, I will look like what I look like. Thats a lot to take at my age. I'm still a woman & would like to look the part, or at least not hanging down empty.
PLEASE STAND WITH ME IN MY RESOLVE to have MEDICARE ALLOW RECONSTRUCTION so the doctor can work his art while closing and not have to call it cosmetic. Otherwise I will be stuck with the open, remove & close job.
