Tell Laredo Texas to Stop Fining those who Feed Strays

Ask LAREDO, TX to please OVERTURN law that fines those who feed strays!
Laredo, Texas is presently undergoing a high number of stray cats. City Council has issued new rules, one of those being, fining anyone who feeds stray cats or dogs. Anyone who attempts to feed strays will be given a stiff fine; furthermore, Laredo TX, lacks compassion and humanity towards stray cats. Laredo TX currently has no Trap Neuter and Release Law. Animals would benefit immensely from being neutered to keep the population down, and it is more humane to feed them than to euthanize them or allow them to starve. TNR programs are the humane way to deal with stray animals -- rules allowing euthanization and fines for people who feed the animals are way too excessive!
I'm in no way attacking the Laredo mayor and the City Council, but I would appreciate if they took our more humane solutions into consideration, and also motivate those who are feeding strays to put TNR into action to solve the issue of stray overpopulation!! Laredo should focus on developing a TNR program, and remove fines for feeding strays, as well as the ordinance that allows property owners to demand cats be euthanized. Please sign my petition to ask Laredo, Texas to please repeal these rules and focus on TNR programs instead
