BAN SPICE OR SYNTHETIC MARIJIUANA

Synthetic cannabinoids/marijuana is a drug, commonly known as spice, fake weed, "legal", 2nd Gen, Aroma Therapy, Herbal Satchets, potpourri, K2 and a number of different generic names. It is a highly addictive, dangerous substance and more potent than real marijuana. It is being sold in businesses like smoke shops, gas stations and convenience stores across the country. It usually comes in the form of plant material, such as damiana leaves laced with synthetic cannabinoids that have been dissolved in solvent such as acetone or formaldehyde.

The dangers of using this substance are cardiac arrest, vomiting, strokes, increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, temporary partial paralysis, fever, temporary inability to feel pain, severe headahes/migraines, hallucinations, depression, thoughts of suicide, feeling of impending doom (death), agitation and irritability, panic attacks/anxiety, excessive sweating, organ failure, psychosis, schizophrenia, paranoia and death. It is highly addictive and VERY PAINFUL to withdraw from.

This drug is very easy to get and even our CHILDREN have access to it. I read a case where a 12 year old boy died trying to withdraw from it. I was almost a victim. Please help stop the sale of this extremely dangerous and life destroying substance.

Synthetic cannabinoids have been banned in 41 states and Puerto Rico. Let's get it banned in the remaining states, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and Washington.
