Justin Bieber: it's not too late to say you're sorry

Justin Bieber posted a picture to Instagram of himself petting a chained tiger at his dad's engagement party this weekend. The tiger came from a zoo whose owner has been charged with five counts of animal cruelty, including one for violently whipping a young tiger into submission. By posing for a picture with this animal, Justin has supported this cruel practice. Sign here to ask Justin to apologize and make a $10,000 donation to the World Wildlife Fund to help them in their efforts to double the tiger population by 2022.

Justin does not have a very good track record with animals. In 2013, he adopted a pet monkey and then abandoned it in Germany. Before that he bought a puppy at a shop rather than adopting from a shelter and gave away a pet hamster to a fan without warning. The hamster died in less than a year. This new picture with a captive tiger is yet another wrongdoing, and it's time to demand an apology and a public show of support for animal welfare.

Tigers who are used for entertainment are ripped from their mother's care at a young age and beaten, forced to live in tiny enclosures and often sedated for events like this party. They lead very unnatural and unhappy lives, and the Bieber family is perpetuating the industry by hiring animals for events.

As a public figure and teen icon, Justin should use his fame and wealth to protect animals, not exploit them. Add your name to tell Justin Bieber you want an apology and a $10,000 donation to WWF to help the Tigers.

Update #17 years ago
He did it again! On Wednesday, May 18, Justin fed and posed with a white lion cub owned by a Canadian millionaire. This is outrageous and proves that Justin does not care about these animals' well-being. We demand he apologizes publicly and donates to WWF to help them in their real efforts towards conservation of endangered cats.
