Stop Royal Mail elastic bands from HARMING Hedgehogs

ALL WILDLIFE CAN BE HARMED BY LITTER.

- Country wide complaints of Royal Mail employees dropping elastic bands on the floor.

- 2 million elastic bands used each day, many end up as litter

- All wildlife can become tangled in the elastic bands

- Over time, the elastic band embeds into their skin, causing an infection which is often fatal

- Amputation or euthanasia can be the result in the event of such injuries

THE AIM: not to criticize Royal Mail, but to urge them to better educate their employees. To work with them by offering advice on how they can improve this issue. To address the importance of not harming the wildlife we strongly care about.

HOW THIS CAN BE ACHEIVED: signing this petition will help show just how much the public care about this issue and want it to be resolved. When the petition is closed, it will be presented to Royal Mail to help address that we feel more could be done.
