Microbeads are responsible of polluting our rivers, lakes, bays, and oceans. In California for instance, our water supply is very scarce. Millions of Californians rely on what little water we have for cooking, drinking, bathing, sanitation and farming. By signing this petition, we are making sure microbeads no longer pollute our water resources.
Dear Governor Jerry Brown:
I am starting this petition because I want to see a ban on all products containing microbeads in the state of California. There has been been reports in the news about how microbeads are polluting our limited water supplies. With a drought in full force and rampant fires taking place, our water is diminishing in a major way. I urge Californians to take a step in the right direction towards water conservation and sign my petition.
