A Tattoo Parlor needs a "WAIVER" to get into a local neighborhood like ours. WHY? Because a Tattoo Parlor is the type of business that brings delinquency to a neighborhood. Tattoo Parlors are rightly lumped in the same category as Adult Entertainment, Businesses, Movie Theaters, Bath Houses, Massage Parlors, Liquor Stores, etc. These types of businesses inherently bring with them a type of clientele and hours of operation that create harmful conditions in neighborhoods, depreciate property values, bring law enforcement problems and interference with residential neighborhoods. WE must protect the South Oceanside neighborhood, the children, the properties by signing this petition and submitting it to the City to prevent any waiver of locational criteria for the Tattoo Parlor.
