CLEAN NATURAL WATER WAYS, to reopen and open new beaches around Montreal. to use modern filtration systems that clean raw sewage 100% to potable water (for irrigation) AND SOLID WASTE FOR COMPOST.: lakes, rivers and streams IN and around MONTREAL

  • by: Edwin Richard
  • recipient: The Mayor of Montreal Office as well as municipalities like Laval, Longueiul, St. Eustache, Pointe aux Trembles, Ile Perrot, West Island Mayors offices, Charlemagne, etc.

We do not want anymore raw sewage dumping into the St. Lawrence or other contaminants. Raise public awareness on how the water can be cleaned up. Address situation through talks with people upriver in Ottawa and Toronto. High tech filtration systems exist and can be put in place. Jobs can be created. Beaches close to Montreal (Pine Beach (closed in 1953) in Dorval and Centennial Beach in Beaconsfield to name a few of many) can be reopened to create better fantastic tourism opurtunities (and Lifeguard, lakefront maintenance jobs)
