Carta al Papa Francisco

Le escribimos al Papa Francisco de Roma, sin el formal protocolo, más bien como a un amigo, un ser humano como todos los que amamos la vida y la respetamos. Especialmente la de los que más sufren.
Somos ciudadanos del mundo, de diversos lugares, nacionalidades, escritores, fotógrafos, profesionales de diversas ramas, jóvenes, personas de todas las edades, de distintas religiones o distinta forma de pensar sobre la Vida que sufrimos por lo que pasa actualmente en el Mundo.
La violencia contra los animales es un tema que nos ha ocupado durante gran parte de nuestra vida, sin respuesta alguna.
Acudimos a Ud. porque hemos visto su enorme sensibilidad, los cambios que está efectuando en la Iglesia Católica, y sabemos que su persona tiene acceso a gobernantes y gobernados, a autoridades con poder de decisión.
Se está irrespetando cruelmente la Creación de Dios, se está incitando a los niños a cometer actos de crueldad contra los animales, lo que determina para el futuro que estos niños cometan los peores asesinatos contra la sociedad.
Le pedimos, que intervenga, que como ser humano sensible ante el dolor de inocentes, nos ayude a parar tanto masacre contra los animales y la destrucción del Medio Ambiente. Situaciones que son de dominio público, pues las redes sociales las difunden.
Tenemos cómo documentar ante Ud. respetuosamente con fotos y videos, situaciones desgarradoras que tienen que soportar los animales de todas las especies.
Por favor, necesitamos que ante esta emergencia mundial por la falta de respeto a la VIDA y de compasión por criaturas indefensas, haga lo que nadie ha hecho y nadie quiere hacer. Ayúdenos a cambiar esta triste realidad, es Ud. la única esperanza de miles y millones de animales que sufren diariamente y mueren, por motivos comerciales.
De igual manera perdemos diariamente cientos de hectáreas de bosques, los mares, ríos y el aire contaminados.
Nosotros los defendemos, hemos pedido, hemos suplicado y vivimos cada día con tristeza, dolor y muerte.
Le hablamos de circos, zoológicos, y verdaderos genocidios todos los años en el continente norte-americano con las focas, en europa con los toros, y en todo el mundo, los delfines, los elefantes, los orangutanes… sometidos a violencia y muerte.
Es interminable la lista de lo que sucede y no podemos detenerla.
Ud., como San Francisco de Asís, ama la vida y El amó y respetó esta parte de la creación del Señor.
Sabemos que no es indiferente al dolor de los que sufren tan innecesariamente y que no olvidará a seres preciosos que están siendo exterminados, de la manera más cruel.
Papa Francisco, quienes firmamos esta petición somos también directamente afectados por esta crueldad, en nuestra psicología, nuestras vidas, la de nuestros niños, y jóvenes y Ud. es el ÚNICO CAMINO HACIA UN CAMBIO.
Quienes firmamos esta carta confiamos, tenemos la esperanza cierta, de que estamos haciendo lo correcto.
Muchas gracias Papa Francisco, en nombre de los que no pueden hablar. En nombre de los animales, de nuestros hijos, de nosotros y de la Vida.

Letter to Pope Francis

We are writing to Pope Francis of Rome, without formal protocol, rather like a friend, a human being like all those who love and respect life. Especially those who suffer most.
We are citizens of the world, from different places, nationalities, writers, photographers, professionals from different branches, young people of all ages, different religions and different ways of thinking about Life, who suffer for what is currently happening in the world.
Violence against animals is a subject that has occupied us for much of our lives, without any response.
We come to you, because we have seen great sensitivity, changes taking place in the Catholic Church, and we know that you have access to the rulers and the authorities empowered.
There is a cruel disrespect of God's Creation, there is inciting children to commit acts of cruelty against animals, which determines a future for those children of predisposition to commit the worst of murders against society.
We ask of you, your intervention, that as a human being, sensitive to the pain of the innocent, you will help us to put an end to so much slaughter of animals and the destruction of the environment. Situations that are public domain, because they are spread through the social networks.
We are able to present documents before you, with photos and videos, heartbreaking situations that animals of all species endure.
Please, in face of this global emergency due to the lack of respect for LIFE and compassion for defenseless creatures, we need you to do what no one has done and nobody wants to do. Help us change this sad reality. You are the only hope for thousands, nay millions of animals that suffer and die every day, for purely commercial reasons.
Similarly we lose every day hundreds of acres of forests, oceans, rivers and air, due to pollution.
We stand for them all, we have asked, we have begged and we live each day with sorrow, pain and death.
We are talking about circuses, zoos, real genocides every year in North America with seals, and Worldwide, the dolphins, the bulls, the elephants, the orangutans ... ALL subjected to violence and death.
The list of what happens is endless, and we can not stop it.
You, like St. Francis of Assisi, love life and He loved and respected this part of the Lord's creation.
We know you are not indifferent to the pain of those who suffer so needlessly and you will not forsake the precious beings, who are being exterminated in the cruelest way.
Pope Francis, those who signed this petition are also directly affected by this cruelty, in our psychology, our lives, our children and young ones, and you are the ONLY PATH TOWARDS CHANGE.
Those who signed this letter are confident and have the assured hope, that we are doing the right thing.
