Justice for Justice

Justice was dumped at Save-A-Pet Adoption Center in Grayslake,Il on January 26, 2010. He was not tied up when dumped, allowing him to roam freely. Save-A-Pet's shelter manager was driving around looking for him. He was spotted in a nearby field by a house. The shelter manager heard 3 gun shots coming from this house. She ran to the front door screaming the dog belonged to her. The man claimed he was not shooting at the dog.  The shelter manager ran towards the dog. Seeing he had been shot in the neck, she called the police. Realizing the dog was still alive, she was able to put the dog in her car with the assistance of two bystanders.  She rushed the dog to the animal emergency hospital but sadly he died. The man was jailed under a $400,000.00 bond due to this and other crimes. He is facing up to 3 years in prison. Save-A-Pet named this dog Justice in hopes of bringing him justice.
