Stop plan to build a Dolphin Zoo in Taiji .

Dear Sir,
Please Cancel plans to build a Dolphin Zoo in Taiji .
We are upset to hear that you are considering plans for a zoo in three or four years .
As we know , the zoo will feature mud flats, also known as tidal flats, are coastal wetlands, aquariums , beaches , with its own oceanside entrance in Moriura Bay closed off by about a 430-metre net. "
It's very sad and alarming that Taiji's mayor, Mr Kazutaka Sangen says the construction of the zoo would not coincide with *** an end to the Dolphin Hunt.

"We will continue hunting dolphins and establish Taiji as a town of Whales, however much criticism we get from abroad," wrote the Asahi Shimbun newspaper.
As we know TAIJI fishermen /hunters / confuse the poor Dolphins by banging metal poles on the side of their boats and then herd them into the cove before massacring them with knives , spears and harpoons.
An endless butchery during months shocking seriously the International Community and the medias.
We are sure you're aware, Japan has a not a good reputation because annual massacres in Taiji . And it is very sad for a wonderful country and for the japanese citizens.
*Building a zoo where tourists will now be able to swim and play with the dolphins near where the cull takes place is not the best idea for the reputation of TAIJI .
And this will be worst .
Zoos , Aquariums which confine animals to small tanks and force them to swim in endless circles or with humans and to perform unnatural tricks for tourists , present a very distorted view of Wildlife. The only thing that they teach people is that it is acceptable to keep wild and wonderful animals, in captivity .
Please don't let this ZOO be one more stain on TAIJI 's otherwise worldly reputation.
