Stop Sexual Assault in the Military

When assault occurs in the civilian world, victims can call the police and, hopefully, get some justice. This is not always the case in the military.
Military sexual assault cases are investigated and prosecuted by the military itself. This conflict of interest causes thousands of cases to be swept under the rug.

The Military Justice Improvement Act (MJIA) would put independent prosecutors in charge of sexual assault cases in the military.
This bill has been introduced and blocked repeatedly since 2013.

    This needs to change.
Please sign this petition to demand that this bill is passed.
Then contact your representative and ask that they put forward the 10 more votes needed to break the GOP filibusterer and make this law.
