We need to legalize the use of marijuana. I think the use of marijuana should be legal because the government is raising our personal taxes when in all reality all the would have to do is place marijuana on the market and they could tax it. Plus, they could make it illegal to sell on the street and enforce that rather than wasting time on the petty "little people" and that would free up some jails, make them some money, lower our taxes, and everyone would be happy.

People should have a right to this plant. Its harmless. I dont want to be a lawbreaker, so I have to go without. Marijuana in the past has helped me with stress and my fibromyalgia. I would rather smoke a little pot then take a xanax which I believe is more harmful. Alcohol cut years off my Grandmothers life. She was an alcoholic and now shes dead. Pot would have never effected her life the way alcohol did. In other words alcohol is Legal but marijuana isnt?!??!??! Oh come on now thats just hypocritical. Make marijuana legal for everyone...Its only fair!

The government doesn't realize how much money THEY could make if they sold it like they sell cigarettes and alcohol. I believe marijuana is much more harmless than cigarettes and alcohol and it would be great for it to be legalized.

ithink that the gov't was stupid to make marijuana ilegal. its a damn plant. that would be like saying nobody can buy or use dirt in this country. and i think that alcohol is much more harmeful than weed. there you have it.they could make the same laws for marijuana as they have for alcohol. what would be the harm?
