Dear Mr. Donald J. Trump,
America has spoken and voted to make you its president. For many, your presidency is means of success, and for others, they are scared and/or attempting to find hope in your near presidency. Before your inauguration Mr. Trump, We, the people of these United States, ask you to take a step in the right direction FOR the PEOPLE, hear OUR voices. However small a step- it can be a step in the right direction. Many American people, such as myself, have friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances, class mates, colleagues, etc. who support LGBT or is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender. These people had successfully found safety to come out and express themselves after many years of fighting. Mr. Trump, we have fought long and hard for these people. With your Anti-LGBT agreement with the KKK and your VP, Mike Pence's ideology that conversion therapy will change someone's sexuality- we have a community of friends, family and loved ones ANGERED and TERRIFIED of being pushed back into that figurative closet. For your supporters, for those terrified, for those angered... Terminate the Ant-LGBT KKK agreement and end the ideas of conversion therapy for our fellow LGBT Americans... people who voted for you. Here, we have started a petition of voices to show the MASSIVE support for the LGBT community... We the people- hope and pray- this will CONVINCE you to do the right thing and protect the rights of the LGBT community.
