Imagine living your entire life in "cramped, filthy warehouses under the constant stress of intense confinement and are denied everything that is natural and important" to you. According to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals that is the life of a pig. Mothers spend their time in crates too small for them to really be comfortable. They don't get to keep their babies the full pregnancy or even after birth. Their piglets get torn from within them before their time is due. Women, especially if you are a mother, how would that make you feel? Though pigs don't have a say and can't speak for themselves it doesn't mean they don't love and care for other pigs especially the ones they gave birth to. There is absolutely no mammal that should have to live like this. When there is nothing benefitting the factory farms, these loyal and intelligent pigs go straight to the slaughter house. On the way to these slaughter houses, they deal with the extreme conditions along the road some even dying of heat exhaustion. These animals who have no say in the life they live get thrown into scalding hot water still alive and conscious to tastes better and be more pleasurable when eating.
People should sign this because on a daily basis these pigs endure cruel and harsh treatment. Pigs live a very unfair and cruel life. It is time to speak up and do the right thing, giving these pigs the life they deserve. To stop pig cruelty, i need your help in signing this petition.
