"Wild but Not Free" - a special report on America's wild horses

We have exciting news to share with you. Tomorrow morning at 7:30 am, the NBC Today Show will air "Wild but Not Free" - a special report on America's wild horses by Senior Investigative Correspondent Lisa Myers. Be sure to tune in!

The segment will include an interview with music legend Carole King, who graciously agreed to speak to NBC on behalf of America's wild horses at the request of AWHPC. Her message is simple: stop the roundups!

At left is a photo of Carole, taken during the NBC interview, accompanied by Isadora, a lovely Spanish colonial mustang who lives at the sanctuary of our parent organization, Return to Freedom.

We are hopeful that NBC's coverage of this issue will be a major step forward in our effort to increase public awareness about the plight of America's wild horses and burros. Please take a few moments and watch at 7:30 am tomorrow. Then look for another email from us on ways you can help spread the word about this story and support NBC for airing it.
