Don't let herbicides, pesticides, and climate change spell doom for frogs.
Frog populations have declined dramatically since the 1950s. More than one third of the 5200 species of frogs are believed to be threatened with extinction, and more than 120 species are suspected to have become extinct since the 1980s. Habitat loss is a significant cause of frog population decline, as are herbicides, pesticides, climate change, and the introduction of non-indigenous predators/competitors into their ecosystems.
Please pledge to do your part to help save frogs by helping to save or restore frog habitat, minimizing or eliminating the use of herbicides and pesticides, and minimizing your global warming footprint.
Keep up the great work. Look what you've accomplished!
