Save Elephants From Slaughter in Vietnam

"Vietnam’s Elephants are on the verge of extinction. A combination of weak environmental laws, high poaching rates, and other related conflicts has nearly wiped these animals out. A conservation group called the World WildLife Fund has looked into the issue to try and save the elephants, but the situation may be too far gone. The group is making an effort and raising awareness for the elephants, but it will take a lot of work to bring them back from the brink of extinction.

The situation is dire, but there may yet be hope: If officials in Vietnam gather together all of these elephants and provide them with the care they desperately need, then it is possible for their population to bounce back. Urge the president of Vietnam to help save his country’s elephants from extinction."
